JOEL A. ROSE

Joel A. Rose died February 13, 2020, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, after a brief illness. 

Joel A. Rose, a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management since 1995, was a Certified Management Consultant and President of Joel A. Rose & Associates, Inc., management consultants to the legal profession based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He had years of experience consulting with private law firms, corporate law departments and government agencies. Joel performed and directed consulting assignments in law firm management and organization, strategic and financial planning, lawyer compensation, the feasibility of mergers and acquisitions and marketing of legal services. He had extensive experience planning and conducting retreats and special expertise resolving problems among and between lawyers. Joel was a lecturer for many law-related organizations and authored countless articles published in professional journals. Joel is survived by his wife, Dori, two daughters, Susan (William) Ferguson and Terri (Scott) Angstreich, and he was Poppy of Ellie Angstreich and Jake Angstreich. Relatives and friends are invited Sunday beginning at 10:30 a.m. to Plat Memorial Chapels where funeral services will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. Donations may be made in memory of Joel A. Rose to Temple Beth Sholom, 1901 Kresson Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08003. 

I had the honor of working with Joel for many years. He was an innovator and thought leader. Joel's legacy will be preserved by the many law firms he assisted (and saved) and by his many articles and presentations. Joel was both a gentleman and a gentle man.
