The theme for this year’s conference is “Transformative Networks” and will focus primarily on the impact of neural, professional, and collaborative/organizational networks in the legal profession, including cutting-edge technologies, evolving business models, and emerging trends in the legal profession. Attendees will experience innovative and thought-provoking presentations from COLPM Fellows, futurists, thought leaders, and legal professionals with expertise in the following areas: 

  • The role of neural networks and artificial intelligence more broadly in shaping the future of the legal profession, including case studies, ethical considerations, the impact on legal education and attorney training, and the impact on access to justice

  • Innovative approaches to collaborative networks, including roles, processes, and technologies that encourage productive collaboration and continuous improvement within law departments, law firms, and law schools

  • Strategies for effective professional and career networking in a rapidly changing legal landscape; and note that the format of the conference itself will encourage significant and effective networking
