Mike O'Horo

Mike O'Horo died February 27, 2022, holding the hand of his wife Zdeni. A colleague of Mike's shared that you could feel the couple's passion and honesty even though, with their moves overseas, you did not see them often anymore.

Mike was one of our industry’s most effective sales consultants, or as he would say “coaches” for more than 25 years. He also described himself as a “serial inventor.” If you were a client and had the honor of Mike counseling your sales efforts, you were in for a tour-de-force.

When Mike entered the legal word without precedent or platform, he impacted it—and more than seven thousand attorneys— so profoundly that the profession is forever changed for the better. His methods progressed as the legal industry evolved and he was always in the forefront of technology including RainmakerVT, the world’s first online interactive virtual business development training program.

Mike contributed to our industry's associations and general knowledge base through speaking, teaching, mentoring, publishing, blogging and tweeting. He was a Fellow of the College from 2018-2020.
